Emergency Packages for Marines
As our forces are being reduced in Afghanistan, some of the remote outposts have minimized stocks of personal items and also reduced the frequency of cooked meals, so the troops are partially subsisting on MREs. We were asked to send some "Goodies" such as snacks and personal items to tie them over

Canteen Re-Hab
A major rehab of the canteen was donated by the Home Depot Corporation and their employees. The Corporation donated over $23,000 in materials and appliances, and hundreds of employees donated their expertise and time to construct and install the new materials. This included a new kitchen floor, appliances, painting and cabinets; the porch was painted, with new carpeting and new windows; most of the interior was repainted; they donated a new John Deere riding lawn mower; they redid much of the landscaping; and much more. Thank you so much for your extremely generous gift!
